HRS-9 was released in January 2012 as our first-generation, fully integrated package, unifying all the existing Hampson-Russell software applications into one interface. With versatile workflows, batch processing, a new lithology application (LithoSI) and faster computing speed, HRS-9 was designed to improve all aspects of reservoir characterization projects using Hampson-Russell. Since the initial release, a number of minor updates have been issued. We are now pleased to announce that on 18th December 2013, the first major update, HRS-9/R2, was released. The HRS-9/R2 upgrade is free for all customers with active maintenance and will include numerous enhancements as detailed below.

In addition to enhancements to the existing software modules, we will also be releasing a Petrel link and our new Fracture Analysis Package: ProAZ.
