The acting is so bad that it can't even be called acting. I don't think any of the actors had any sort of training whatsoever.

Some scenes are so awkward that it would have been better to delete those scenes entirely, and it wouldn't have taken anything away from the main story. What this movie and its reception tells me, is that if I get a bunch of authentic Hyderabadi guys together and film them speaking to themselves normally, people (like me) will watch it.
